ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Bloomberg Tax announced today its 2026 Author Awards for International Tax, which were presented at the 78th International Fiscal Association (IFA) Congress in Melbourne, Australia, last week. Ken Loon Ong, Chong Kin Lim, Benjamin Gaw, Simon Akozu, and Theophilus Emuwa were recognized for their contributions to Bloomberg Tax’s international tax guidance.
“International tax rules are changing quickly, and practitioners need analysis grounded in how those rules work locally,” said Evan Croen, head of Bloomberg Tax & Accounting. “This year’s honorees have brought that perspective to our Singapore, New Zealand, and Nigeria coverage, helping our customers understand developments that matter to their work.”
Ken Loon Ong, Chong Kin Lim, and Benjamin Gaw were named International Tax Portfolio Authors of the Year for their work on Business Operations in Singapore. Designed for those doing business in Singapore, the Portfolio includes dedicated discussions of tax incentives and withholding taxes on payments to nonresidents. They also kept the Portfolio current with the Finance Act and new guidance, responding to subjects of particular interest to readers. Ken Loon heads Tax & Private Client Services at Drew & Napier and advises on the tax aspects of corporate transactions. Chong Kin is managing director of the firm’s Corporate & Finance department, and Benjamin is a director in its Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practices.
